Doupont R-105 Titanium Dioxide Powder

DuPont R-105 Titanium Dioxide Powder is a high-performance rutile-grade TiO₂ pigment, produced via the chloride process, and designed specifically for plastic applications. This grade is surface-treated with alumina and organic compounds, enhancing its dispersibility, opacity, and resistance to yellowing under heat and UV exposure. It exhibits excellent thermal stability, making it ideal for use in polyolefins, PVC, engineering plastics, and films. The pigment offers high brightness, superior tint strength, and exceptional durability due to its high refractive index (~2.7) and fine particle size distribution. The chemical composition primarily consists of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) with a purity typically exceeding 94%, and it is insoluble in water and most organic solvents. R-105 also demonstrates outstanding processing stability and maintains optical properties even under high-temperature extrusion or injection molding conditions.
